about:
My work is an exploration of interconnected narratives, drawing inspiration from a range of sources, including near-death experiences, spiritualist painters such as Agnes Pelton, Nicholas Roerich and Wassily Kandinsky, as well as the symbolic illustrations found in the theosophical book Thought Forms. These elements converge to suggest the creation of an alternate space or realm—one that exists beyond the tangible world we know.
Through this body of work, I seek to create a visual language that embodies journeys, dimensions, mysticism, and a sense of joyfulness. My process is informed by symbols, words and phrases that have resonated deeply with me, woven together by the reflections and experiences that have influenced my thinking during the creation of this series. The result is a fluid and loosely constructed narrative that speaks to the interconnectedness of things, both seen and unseen.
